Our team of PhD-trained scientists have developed a range of blackcurrant berry fruit products for the health-care and dietary sectors with all new products (powders and beverages) based on the blackcurrant anthocyanins.
Scientists in the Product Development laboratory consult and collaborate with customers to develop customer specific products.
Team members work closely with scientists and technologists at the New Zealand Government's Crown Research Institutes and Universities. These relationships enable the development of new processes and licensing novel technologies for developing new products. We also have access to state-of-the-art analytical instruments and technology through our contacts at these Institutions. The well-equipped 220 m2 laboratory provides an environment to maximise the speed of product development to ensure a rapid "product to market" process.
